The next Saturday, October 12, will be held in the premises of the Nautical Association San Gregorio, the first kids fishing contest “without death”. In this event children can participate up to 12 years of age.
The childrens who are encouraged to participate should bring a fishing rod. Also, it is mandatory that kids are accompanied by an adult throughout the contest. The test starts at 9:00 to end at 12:00 noon. Then proceed to the awards ceremony and accesits for participants.
This contest is organized by the Sport Fishing Association of Rias Baixas, San Gregorio Nautical Grouping and Remadoira.

On Sunday 23th, on the occasion of the bonfires of San Juan, boats of REMADOIRA participate in the 1st beaching on the Canido Beach, in collaboration with the Festival Committee Os Linhares, who organized this event.
About 18:30 pm, our boats landed on this beach to be enjoyed on the sardine will begin at 21:00 pm. Among all try to emulate this fish unloading ships that once made the place. We all enjoy this feast day.

On Friday 14, a small group of users COGAMI (Galician Confederation of People with Disabilities) from Mos (Pontevedra) made a departure by sea on two of our boats (Tainna and Trebello). This activity comes in a collaborative project in which also participate SAN GREGORIO Nautical Association and the School of Traditional Sail REMADOIRA. The kids enjoyed, on a beautiful afternoon, the sensations brought them traditional sailing navigation, contact with nature, sea and the wind of our estuary.
This activity will be repeated with more users of this confederation next Friday 21. Later, more trips are planned with more users from other COGAMI centers in the rest of the province.
On the occasion of the return to sea our ships, on Saturday 8th had the honorable visit of Mr. Santos Hector Rodriguez, Councilman Employment, Citizen Participation and Volunteer Hall of Vigo, to whom we thank for their cooperation extended to the association and your interest in our cultural task. Likewise, we ask them to convey our gratitude to mayor Mr. Abel Caballero.
Our councilor could assist entry into the sea two vessels, Teis and Temperán vats, which topped the Hivernage of each year. He also became interested in the rest of our boats already in his grip and good facilities visited dock of the Nautical Association of San Gregorio, where our fleet is moored. He also showed great interest in our winter activities in favor of the conservation of our boats.
Also, the council attended the trial shipment to Taina for a disabled person within a project of outputs by the Ria with members of the organization COGAMI, project It is to develop together with the Nautical Association SAN GREGORIO and REMADOIRA traditional sailing school. The test went very well, making a brief Navigation in Bouzas dock and subsequent landing.
The last weekend was happened in Marina Davila facilities in Vigo, the 1st edition of the Nautical Festival of Vigo, organized by several companies.
Remadoira was present at this event, informative mission, with two boats, our boat of River Miño and the gamela of Cabo de Cruz. Many visitors who came to our booth, information brochures were given of the activities developed for the Galician traditional ships culture and to enjoy the beauty of these two ships.
